When was the last time you visited Tagaytay City for a quick escape? My family and I usually go there for a quick trip every now and then but every time we do so, we just do a day trip. We go to a park to enjoy the cool breeze and do some sight seeing and go home within the day. It was fun and all but I just realized that it’s not as relaxing as staying at a nice hotel for the night!
Recently, I decided to treat my mom, sister and daughter for a Tagaytay City stay at the BEST HOTEL in Tagaytay.. Taal Vista Hotel. I’ve always wanted to stay at this hotel since they have the fascinating view of the Taal Lake and Volcano. Aside from that, they are the 2nd oldest hotel in the Philippines! As a matter of fact, they will be celebrating their 85thanniversary soon. With decades of experience in the Hotel industry, I can truly say that Taal Vista Hotel knows how to take care of their guests. I’ve seen photos and heard nice stories about Taal Vista Hotel but to see is to believe they say and after our stay, I must admit that I know now why people keep on coming back here.
Here are 10 Reasons To Stay in Taal Vista Hotel
-
The fascinating and unobstructed view of the Taal Lake and Volcano.
Nestled on the Tagaytay Ridge, you can truly enjoy a nice view while relaxing on their garden, ALTA Ridge Bar or even on your own balcony!
2. Spacious and Luxurious rooms for a Cozy and Relaxing experience.
We stayed at their Premier Room via the Lake Wing Building and I was surprised on how spacious and cozy it was! I often have a hard time sleeping on hotels but not here. We all had a nice sleep and felt like we can stay in our room all day long! Not to mention that our room gives us an amazing view of the Taal Lake and Volcano too! We had a nice time relaxing at our balcony, just enjoying the cool and fresh breeze. 🙂
3. Their Outdoor Pool is also Amazing!
We went for a quick swim after breakfast and the pool was almost empty. Despite the cool breeze, it wasn’t actually that cold so my daughter and my sister had a nice swim. There were towels available and a lifeguard for safety!
4.Their beautiful garden is Instagram-worthy!
Need I say more? It’s the perfect place to play with kids or for a morning or afternoon stroll.
5. Taal Vista Hotel’s breakfast buffet is one of the best in Tagaytay.
Don’t miss trying out Veranda Restaurant’s Buffet Breakfast or Lunch! We got to experience their mouth-watering local favorites, and delicate pastries! We love the food variety and even the entertainment during breakfast and lunch time. There are entertainers to serenade you during breakfast and even Folk Dance performance during lunch time. We all had a nice time at Veranda.
6. Afternoon Tea Time at the Lobby Lounge for an unforgettable experience
Since my little one loves playing tea time at home, I booked an Afternoon Tea Time experience at Taal Vista’ Lobby Lounge. They served delicious Filipino and International Delicacies together with Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate Drink. Everything was delicious! The Lobby Lounge is also Instagram-worthy because of their fancy interior! Someone was also playing the piano so it was a really nice experience. Make sure to try this out!
7. Taza Fresh Table for dinner is a must!
For a fine dining experience, try out Taza Fresh Table. They serve the freshest dishes made with local ingredients! We had a gastronomical experience dining here. Their chef made an awesome job with everything! I especially love their steak and dessert, the Molten Chocolate Cake and Olive Oil Gelato.
8. An exclusive gate directly to Sky Ranch!
One of Tagaytay City’s tourist spots, Tagaytay Sky Ranch is just right beside Taal Vista Hotel! You can buy a ticket via the hotel receptionist and enter on the exclusive gate from Taal Vista Hotel’s garden going to Sky Ranch. It was super convenient!
9. You get to enjoy awesome facilities like their playroom for kids and even a gym to keep you fit during your stay!
10. Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff!
Everyone will literally smile and greet you! With years of experience in the hospitality industry, they surely know how to take care of their guests. All of our needs were met and everyone was just really nice and warm.
